Kok Boru: A Cowboy Odyssey

An Otter House original, this feature documentary follows a group of American cowboys as they travel to Central Asia to compete in a nomadic sport on behalf of the United States. Along the way, they confront the physical and emotional costs of their sport, including injury, fame, and isolation. Their world is upended when star player Ladd Howell receives an offer to move to Kyrgyzstan and join a professional team. (Fundraising sizzle above)
